In no way meant to be an attack on Greek affiliates, "The Other Truth About Greek Life" was a response to a trending infographic titled "The Truth About Greek Life" illustrating how easily graphic design and simple statistics (when taken out of context) can be used to manipulate public opinion. The infographic also serves to raise awareness about social issues on college campuses such as alcoholism, bullying, and rape. Statistics are not fabricated (but are intentionally misinterpreted and uncited).

The Problem: We don’t talk about journalistic integrity of design, but in the same way a writer can twist the truth to fit a certain agenda, a graphic designer can use flashy charts and typefaces to twist public opinions. This infographic was put together to show how easily one person with the Adobe Suite can spread misinformation and half truths around the internet.
