In an attempt to get millennials to talk openly about their own biases and share personal stories and opinions, MTV's internal social advocacy campaign, Look Different, held a design contest for projects that might start and sustain these difficult, emotional, and important conversations. My submission, 'Speak Out' (later renamed Look Deeper) was selected and designed as part of MTV's ongoing campaign to combat racial, sexual, and anti-LGBTQ bias. Look Deeper is an interactive content aggregator that clusters collections of different perspectives on specific issues to bring together the collective social zeitgeist of our generation.
