Here are some projects I have worked on:

THE DIG

Role: UX / UI Designer
Clients: Murmur + The Skin Deep

THE DIG is an interactive documentary exploring the changing landscape of modern relationships. It was designed to build understanding and compassion for others through immersive storytelling.

THE DIG was an official selection of IDFA 2016 and won 1st Prize for The World Press Photo's Immersive Storytelling.

 

 

What Went Wrong?

Role: Co-Founder & Service Designer
Collaborator: Peter DiCampo

What Went Wrong? is a participatory journalism project mapping failed aid across Africa through SMS and social media-based community reporting.

What Went Wrong?  received an investigative data-journalism grant from Code4Africa's Impact Africa initiative. 

 

Look Deeper

Role: Concept Creator & Designer
Client: MTV

Look Deeper is micro-story sharing platform for millennials to have safe conversations about bias, created as part of MTV's Look Different Campaign.

StoryDeck

Role: UX/UI Design
Client: Murmur Co.

StoryDeck is a swipe-based storytelling platform for the mobile web. It’s like Tinder for storytelling. StodyDeck has been used by publishers including Refinery 29, AJ+, Showtime and The Economist.

EMPLOYMENT

UX / SERVICE DESIGNER, MSK CANCER CENTER
I am working as part of the Design and Innovation Group at MSK which involves collaboration with different groups throughout the hospital including clinicians, patients and caregivers, to breakdown complex problems, find opportunities for interventions, design new solutions, and ultimately improve the patient experience at MSK.

UX / UI DESIGNER, Global Citizen
As part of the product team, I am helped Global Citizen update and improve their online and off-line user experience. This included designing mock-ups for web and mobile, collaborating with front-end and back-end developers to build out solutions, and developing strategies for new products and features.

UX / UI DESIGNER, Murmur Co.
I worked with the Murmur team to conceptualize and develop desktop and mobile storytelling platforms. I created site maps, wireframes, and finalized digital mock-ups, as well as graphic elements and data visualization designs for our projects.

DESIGN FACILITATOR, Magnum Foundation
As part of Magnum’s Photography Expanded initiative, I facilitated collaborations between photographers, journalists, and other media makers, leading the creative direction of multiple interactive narratives and challenging photojournalists to plan their impact through user-centered thinking.
